Remember the vintage photo of the sad little girl I showed you in a previous post? This time I added some colour to the photo and used it in a collage on an old book cover.
I got the inspiration for this one by looking at the beautiful work of Nancy Maxwell. If you don't know her work, be sure to visit her blog Sugar Lump Studios.
Now there is a secret to this collage, and the one below too. You tell me if you notice my little secret and I'll tell you in a future post if you were right :)
Beneath the girl it reads:
“If you’re feeling a little blue, try painting yourself a different colour”
Which is after a quote of a 8 year old girl called Hannah.
And here's another collage I made for this week:
(Which, by the way, I came across in my archives. I made this one too for this week's CCCB project, but hadn't uploaded this collage in the original post. But when updating my blog posts, I noticed it in my archives, and wanted to share it here as well.)
The collages are my projects as DT member of City Crafter for this week's challenge. Dear Ros asks us to make a project with clouds and the colours of an inspiration photo.
Guest designer with us this week is the talented Bligu. Please visit her to show her some blog love. And check out the beautiful work of our dear team members here.
