Shabby and French

What is your favourite style for arts and crafts? Is it different from - let's say - your home deco style? I think my favourite is the shabby French country style. Weathered, worn, a bit chic. Soft colours. Romantic. With lots of soft flowers.

I have a lot of relatives in France. I love that country, especially the south. Here's a sweet doggy's country life in southern France at my aunt's home.

My other crush is laces. Lots and lots of laces. Lacy flowers combined with beads... so yummie.

This creation was meant to be a bookmark, but actually it could do very well as a hanger. I've sent it to Sanne, who's still in her teens. Oh how time flies, when I think about my teen years :) Please visit her blog to say hi to her, she's new in blogland and I'm sure she'd love some encouragement.

The fabric of the bookmark/hanger is stamped with music notes, because Sanne is a great music lover. But on the photos it doesn't really show.

Sanne and I have done a swap of bookmarks. I will show you everything by and by.

News flash ~ Remember the giveaway I planned for the CCCB birthday? We have a winner!!! Ira, congrats dear friend, I will make a sweet package for you!! And Daphne, I didn't forget your package either, expect it in your mailbox coming week :)

But for now: happy sunny weekend wishes to you my friends!

xx Wen
