Bon Voyage! mixed media collage




Dear Linda is leaving the City Crafter design team
to go on a grand tour through the US.
We will miss her so much!!

But we're very happy for her that her dream comes true of course!



Because of this we have a special challenge at CCCB
dedicated to Linda.


Theme: make a Bon Voyage card or project.


I made a mixed media collage
with a lovely vintage photo of a woman waving goodbye with her
(probably beautifully embroidered) handkerchief.

    Wendy, what a treasure your friend will have for a keepsake! You can really see all the lovely care and thought you put into it. Just searching for the right photo takes so much time and how lucky were you to find just the perfect one! I love the movement in it.. the wind blowing her skirt, hair and handkerchief! I am utterly charmed!

    Oh how divine this is and that most stunning photograph (thank you for providing the image for us to use ourselves) and the applique at the bottom reminds me that it could be a torn piece from her handkerchief as it becomes snagged whilst she waves it.
