*** Update: my project Little Maggie has been featured at Timewashed.com, yay!!
Thank you Becky :) ***
Hope you had a wonderful weekend and a good fresh start of the week!
It's Tuesday again, and I'm still the guest designer at City Crafter so here's my project for this week. I'm so enjoying my time at CCCB, thank you girls!
This sweet little girl is Margaret Ford. She's three years old here. I found her beautiful picture on Jules' blog, for which I'm so grateful!
Dear Charlene asked us to use wood grain in our project.
I made a collage on a piece of a cardboard box for this challenge.
I made a collage on a piece of a cardboard box for this challenge.
I love weathered white wood panels. I found two images on the internet which I blended. One of white weathered wood panels and one of white wood grain. I've put the wood grain behind the photo of little Maggie.
Below is a picture I took with different light. It shows the real colours of the collage a little better.
At first I had some troubles with this challenge. Below is one of my other tries. A small collage. It's not my favourite ever, but I thought it cute enough to show you :)
I'm also linking this post again to Blissful Whites Wednesday at Timewashed.com.

Heerlijk om te mogen genieten van twee superromantische, dromerige creaties Wendy! Vind ze allebei beeldschoon, prachtige afbeeldingen die je heel fraai hebt verwerkt. Ben er weer weg van! Lieve groetjes, Ira

Dear Wendy, Your white collage with the lovely little girl is so very beautiful, I love the white shaded colours you show it has in the last photo of it- so wonderful with the wood grain behind her, and the different layers of laces.
ReplyDeleteBut I also love the other one in brown tones, and gorgeous with the branches around and the lovely flower. They are both so sweet and beautiful.

Hello Dear Wendy
ReplyDeleteWell I have come back again as last time I got lost in your Pinterest boards especially looking at your vintage tin type cards.
So I'm here to tell you how very sweet both of your collages are.
I have no preferences really because I love the tones of each - the background and layers of lace on the first and the framed image in twigs so lovely!
Thanks for sharing and can we use your images on Pinterest also.
Sending warm hugs,
Suzy

Maggie is gorgeous, Wen. I love the 'whiteness' of this collage. A focus on textures. I like the border on your other collage, too. Beautifully done, wen :)
