Hello sweet friends,
Just wanted to pop in to say hi and let you know everything's going quite well here. Life is back to normal again after the summer holidays. We've taken tons of photos and Cornwall was beautiful and magical!
At the moment I can't get enough of creating. I haven't done any of that during the summer holidays. There was just not enough time.
So there's a lot of busy-ness going on my worktable. My mind is full of creative ideas. More than my hands can make all at once.
One of the projects is a fabric book of which here are two pages-in-the-making.
Mmm, wonder what I will put in that little cabochon setting...
Wishing you all well and see you later!
xx Wen
Sweet friend, you fabric book is looking quite beautiful :) Love and hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteSO Stunning!
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy! Your pages are lovely. I also signed up for Suzy's class early on. How great that class will be! Hugs, Sue
ReplyDeleteThe two images you used almost look as though they're the same person. Perhaps the cabachon should hold another picture of that person, only older? Or as a baby?
ReplyDeleteIf the page is any indication, your fabric is going to be gorgeous. I would probably glue a round shaped initial, flower or pretty design into the little circular frame then use clear dimensional Modge Podge to fill in over the design so that it looks like it is behind glass! Whatever you decide to do, I am sure it will be lovely!
ReplyDeleteHello dear Wen,
ReplyDeletehow wonderful it is to see you creating your beautiful art again.
Your two pages are gorgeous, I love your black-white-beige old time beautiful style, filled with sweetness !!
It will become a most treasurable book, dear friend !!
Hugs from Dorthe

Take care and I hope to call on you soon! (I need Blog help!:) For now it is back to my office (I work full time.)
Thanks friend,
Karen
