Simply Neutrals #47

Hello dear friends, welcome to Simply Neutrals #47!

We just came back from the Austrian mountains, where we stayed for a couple of weeks. And today I just had to share with you one of the amazing glaciers we visited.

To think that the glaciers shrink so much and will be gone some day...

We told our young children to really soak in the beauty of these enormous ice structures, because who knows if they will still be there when they take their children to the mountains.

FEATURE OF LAST MONTH

Thank you for joining in the fun again last month! Because of our trip to the mountains I was not able to visit you all on time, I'm sorry.

For the feature I chose this month the gorgeous mixed media collage by Jo of Let's Art Journal.

I love the gorgeous background she created and the beautiful mushrooms!

Dear Jo, here is your feature blog button if you like:

On to this month's party!

SIMPLY NEUTRALS #47

To join the party, please keep the following things in mind:

1) Please link only to the blogpost that contains the photo(s) you want to share, and not to your blog's homepage.

2) Kindly link back to AppleApricot by putting a link to my blog in your blogpost.

Of course you're most welcome to use the blog button of Simply Neutrals Tuesday as well
(which can be found in the sidebar of my blog)

3) Link ups to both new and older blog posts are welcome.

4) You can link up from your blog, but if you do not have a blog but would love to link up from your instagram or other social media account, that's perfectly fine too.

Beware though, that may be not everyone can come visit and/or leave you a comment there.

5) Please take time to visit some of the other link ups and send them some love.

Time for the link up!

xx Wen

  1. Hello Wen,

What amazing pictures of your glacier tour. I have only seen one glacier, the Athabasca Glacier in Canada, and I remember the cracking sounds it made as it moved or perhaps melted along downhill slowly. We have none in australia. It is scary to think about what we may be losing in our natural world because of climate change. Our political leaders are not moving quickly enough to make wise decisions to slow the damage, especially our current Australian government. My children feel that it's hopeless, a lost cause, and it is a great source of stress for them to learn about it at school and on the Internet.

Jo's collage is indeed very special, and what a great inspiration she had from her special thank you gift.

Hope you are enjoying life, as I am, especially in the garden.
    Love and hugs,
    Jesse XXX
