Simply Neutrals #33 - Happy Valentine's Day!

hearts by AppleApricot

Happy Valentine's Day dear friends!!

May your hearts be filled with love, peace, and joy!

And welcome again to another Simply Neutrals!

When this post goes online it's not yet Valentine's day but this week we will celebrate this day of love. So of course SNT this week had to be about hearts. (Of course you're free to share whatever you want to. It doesn't have to be about hearts or love at all.) There are lots of beautiful hearts arts and crafts being created every year and also many beautiful heart shapes being photographed to share online with each other.

I'm sharing this week some of the hearts from my archives. I had hoped to share a new creation, but severe back aches leave me incapable of crafting for a while I'm afraid. Every move I make hurts and it does for almost two weeks now. So I'm taking some rest.

If you're in need of some heart crafts inspiration,

Here are some of the beauties you will find there, some of them created by you my friends! Of course I only share the neutral coloured ones here at Simply Neutrals, but there are many colourful hearts on my Pinterest board as well.

Feature of last week

Thank you again so much for your wonderful shares last week! I really enjoy the gathering and love to read and see every entry. They tell something precious about who we are, what is dear to our hearts or what is on our minds, and they all mean a lot to me. Thank you for sharing and gathering here, dear friends!

To stay true to this Valentine's hearts post of course for this week's feature I had to choose the gorgeous heart made by dearest Dorthe of Den Lille Lade. I love how the two girls together are carrying a beautiful heart, symbol of their love and friendship.

Sweetie, this button if for you:

But there is another post I would also like to give an extra shout out, because again this one really touched my heart. If you haven't seen it yet, please make sure you do. It's about a gorgeous lace book made by Chris Flynn of My Irish Gypsy and that dear Liz of LuluLiz in LalaLand bought and shared with us last week. The lace book highlights the courageous women that fought for women's rights a hundred years ago. It truly is a beautiful tribute to these women. And we owe women like them a tremendous gratitude. You can find this wonderful tribute lace book HERE. Thank you Liz for sharing it with us!

On to this week's party!

SIMPLY NEUTRALS #33

To join the party, please keep the following things in mind:

1) Please link only to the blogpost that contains the photo(s) you want to share, and not to your blog's homepage.

2) Kindly link back to AppleApricot by putting a link to my blog in your blogpost.

Of course you're most welcome to use the blog button of Simply Neutrals Tuesday as well
(which can be found in the sidebar of my blog)

3) Link ups to both new and older blog posts are welcome.
Of course it would be nice if you link up to a new or recent blog post, but if there is something from the archives you'd really want to link up here, then please feel welcome to do so.

4) You can link up from your blog, but if you do not have a blog but would love to link up from your instagram or other social media account, that's perfectly fine too.
Beware though, that may be not everyone can come visit and/or leave you a comment there.

5) Please take time to visit some of the other link ups and send them some love.
The most recently added link ups will show in the list first.

Time for the link up!

xx Wen

  12. Hello Wen, Sorry to hear about your back pain. It's so hard to enjoy anything when you're in pain! I hope you are feeling better.

I've been away for a few days working and just got back tonight after a 3 hour drive. I thought I had left a comment here for you, but maybe I rushed and it didn't work properly... so again...

Gorgeous hearts you have showcased here, and your Pinterest site was delicious too. The heart box is exquisite with its lace collage lid. Dorthe's heart was stunning, too. What wonderful inspiration from everyone.
    Big hugs to you,
