Simply Neutrals Tuesday #5 (yes the party goes on!)

Dearest sweetest friends,

First of all I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your heartfelt comforting words and your sweet prayers on behalf of our family.

Thank you so much!

I can't tell you how much I felt encircled with your warmth and love and how grateful I am for this. Although I might not exactly be in a party mood at the moment, it really is my great wish that the neutral party goes on! Especially after seeing the beauty you shared last week!

So.

Here's to Simply Neutrals Party #5!

Features of last week

I'm not sharing photos from me this week,
but decided to share more of your work instead.

First of all a gorgeous collage by Suzy of suziqusthreadworks
that really spoke to me this week.

I think it's the pondering peacefulness and the word faith
that spoke to me in particular at this time in my life.

I recently started a painting and mixed media course by Mindy Lacefield that is faith based and which really helps me at the moment. So seeing this gorgeous collage of Suzy it felt only natural to share it with you.

Next is a stunning book made by Gigi of Bound Paper (her new blog) which she made after a course by Nellie Wortman.

shared some gorgeous weathered pieces.

Mascha of Maschas Buch shared the most beautiful stone wall
at Our Beautiful World this week
and I asked her to link it also to Simply Neutrals Tuesday.

Just look at these beautiful stones...

And last but certainly not least there is someone who I'd love to see having more followers on her blog because she makes the most beautiful things!

For now you can follow her blog only through bloglovin it seems, click HERE.

Here are some of her recent projects:

This beautiful journal she shared with us last week.
But here's another beautiful piece of art of hers which I'd like to share with you:

Ladies, here's the "featured" blog button which you are most welcome to use!

So, are you ready for another party?

  9. It was so soothing to see all the lovely projects others have posted at the party. I am sorry for the sad times you and your family are going through. Our family is also going through the same painful thing right now. I have not been giving my own blog much attention for quite some time because I was busy, trying to help out with caregiving and helping with grandchildren, etc. in any way possible. Visiting the blogs of others has been hard to fit in, as well. When I read your blog post a few minutes ago, I immediately stopped and said a prayer for you and your family and I hope that, with time the pain will be less and we can all begin to heal.

  13. Wen, you've chosen some beautiful images to feature from the last Simply Neutrals party. Suzy's collage is to die for, Gigi's book based on Nelly's workshop is divine, and I love that cracked white paint in Sue's picture. Mascha's stone wall and Karen's hessian envelope are so textural, and I love that spark of red on the robin. It really jumps out.

Wen, I hope looking at everyone's lovely work and hearing the positive and caring comments of this community bring you support and peace. Thanks for hosting the party.
    Hugs,

    Jesse
