Simply Neutrals #11

This week we went to a couple of garden centers, because we're going to revamp the garden. At one of the garden centers I found this beautiful Christmas tree.

I thought it was rather sweet looking with the deer.

Not sure if we will manage to have a Christmas tree this year.

Features of last week

Now, I know that I featured Suzy's work last week also.
But just look at these gorgeous angels!

I really HAD to feature them this week.
Such gorgeous ethereal and serene creatures!
Go see more photos at her blog HERE.

Second I'd like to introduce to you the wonderful art

She shares some wonderful tutorials on making beautiful baskets like the ones above.
I'd love to try my hands on that some day!

Ladies, your most welcome to put the "I was featured" button to your blog,
but please don't feel obliged to do so!

News flash

After carefully reading your comments on the news flash of last week
and taking some time to ponder about it,
I have decided:

1)  The winter break will be from the 7th of December till the 4th of January.

This means that the last Simply Neutrals of 2015 will be December 1st.
The first Simply Neutrals of 2016 will be January 5th.

2)  In 2016 the party will be twice a month.
Which will be every first and third Tuesday of the month.

I will put a calendar on my blog somewhere, so you can see whenever is the next party.

I hope this will work for all of us.
Well, as long as we're having fun, everything is okay, right?

Anyway, thank you so much for your input
and for joining me these fabulous past weeks!

Now, let's get partying, shall we?

Simply Neutrals #11

What neutral coloured beauty did you find or make or buy or receive?

Post anything in neutral colours,
be it cream, white, grey, beige, silver and/or brown.

A creation you made or received, home decoration, a statue or architecture, or anything out there that you were allowed to take a photo of.

  3. Dear Wen, what a great Christmas tree! I like the deers, in Russian they are called "Oleen" - some words, sentences or thoughts I'm always thinking by myself in Russian language...
Suzy's work is amazing, I would have it on a home alter -
It's okay with the break, in December is so many to do, but, of course, I will look for neutral colors. Maybe, I make my Christmas decoration in neutrals?
Have a nice time and mild wether for garden works

  13. Wen, those white Christmas tree decorations are gorgeous. My children would not let me limit the colours of our Christmas tree, but one day I will have a neutral Christmas. Then I'll miss them and their jumble of clutter on our tree!

Suzy's angels were breath-takingly beautiful. And Stacey's hand-made baskets were amazing, too. Such talent...

Thank you for hosting this party, Wen. I look forward to sitting back and enjoying everyone's offerings each week. I enjoyed your other blogpost on rocks, too :)

    Hugs,

    Jesse

Thanks you for visiting me! -and I didn't know on Tue. I missed something on your blog:) I understand - everyone is super busy right now!
Love the Christmas trees you showed (I sure hope you can put up a Christmas tree - maybe a small table top one?). We see deer almost every day, because we are living at 3000 feet, so they're part of the neighborhood gang:)

  15. Those white deer look so pretty on a tree. Not sure at this moment whether we'll bother putting up a tree because we're not going to be here and aren't expecting to have any company prior to Christmas either.
