Sisters

Charlene got a sweet challenge for us this week. Cottage Quilt. She gave us a beautiful inspiration photo to work from as well.

Aren't these sisters cute? The red thingie behind them is actually a piece of a package of oranges. And I did some other recycling too here. The card is made on thin packaging cardboard. The girls and the numbers are paper on packaging as well. And the fabrics come from one of those big bags full of remnants I was gifted a while ago. I wish I had a sewing machine though, to sew around the edges.

The red button came from my aunt's stash. The book on which I displayed the card is fun too, it's an old recipe book from my grandma's.

The challenge

Host: Charlene at CCCB
Theme: Cottage Quilt - make a project using the colours of her inspiration photo and a quilt pattern.
Guest Designer: Rudlis from Poland

Come join us at CCCB! And get more info for the challenge there.

Hugs and happy crafting,

xx Wen
