But Wen, surely we know you already, so what's with the welcome???
Well, it is...
Dear Vicki has done it again, she's hosting this wonderful party again this year. Thank you Vicki! And I'm welcoming every sweetie, old friend or new, to my share in the party.
So who am I? I'm a girl with a rabbit and we look a bit like this:
Only I'm a little older and greyer and my rabbit won't sit still like that!
Let me show you what my bloghome is all about. Friends who already know me and my blog: please do make yourself at home and help yourself to the fridge.
In my blog home you will come across some fabric, ribbons and laces.
Above is a little pouch in the making for example.
I've done a lot of collaging
and paper works.
Like these...
Like these...
But I'm on crossroads at the moment.
Next week is my last week on the design team of
So here's my road ahead
open to whatever comes to my mind.
There will definitely be more fabric and stitching involved!
I'd love to finish this fabric book below...
It's been waiting on my desk for so long now.
Poor thing.
But I have big plans and high hopes for her (him?)
I did finish some little books.
Here's one...
And here...
Furthermore...
I love a good laugh.
So you'll bump into some here sooner or later.
I love to go on treasure hunts in thrift stores and places like that.
(My granny's cupboards and hidden boxes too... heaven!!)
And I love photography. I'm on the team of Our Beautiful World where we have a new word prompt every Sunday and love to share the beauty around us with each other.
Ya, like my feet, which are in desperate need of some new shoes by the way.
And here's something else I love:
vintage children photos
and editing them in photoshop elements.
Here's one for you.

So now you'd like to hear about a giveaway, don't ya?
Well, you have to be a little bit patient then.
In a little while I'll be having my second blog anniversary.
So what you'd say to a party again then?
I promise there's a giveaway involved...
Hope to see you around then!
Happy bloghopping!
xx Wen
(So I could have done with a lot less yada yada, couldn't I.)

ReplyDeleteWelcome to the big beautiful Grow Your Blog Hop! I volunteered to help Vicki as a GYB party volunteer. Vicki may stop by later but with over 500 blogs participating, she asked for volunteers to help with the visiting so I offered to help. I am so happy I did because I have found your blog. Your photography and crafting is beautiful. I really love the books and collages. I used to make paper journals. This makes me want to start again. Now I mostly quilt. Thanks for sharing ... :) Pat @ Life in the Scrapatch

Hello Wendy, so glad to meet you just popped in from GYB party. Loved your beautiful crafted lace books. I used to collect lace & vintage linen, but as I got older I was so busy helping to bring up my two lovely grandsons here in France, I never seemed to have time. I think it's about time I had a look in my store cupboard and brought a few pieces out to share. Maybe a good idea for my give away! oops I might have just let the cat out of the bag !! don't tell anyone it was supposed to be a surprise. Hope you'll pop by and find something you like in my blog. I'm just off to sign up & follow you, then I won't miss anything. Look forward to your visit.
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy--I loved all the yada yada! SO glad I've visited from the GYB party. Your projects all tug at my heartstrings! I love working with vintage images in my little creations, too. Ooooh, that blue and lace fabric book...what a treasure that will be! I'm signing up to be a follower :-)
