Flower shower

Who's longing for Spring???

Me! Me! Me!

Not all at once please...

Well, I don't know about you,
but I'm longing for the fresh colours of Spring
with beautiful flowers and green leaves.

And refreshing showers.

Well, we do have (cold) showers at the moment.
I'm not complaining.
No I'm not.
Honestly.
Brrr...

So when I heard that this week's prompt at Our Beautiful World is

Fresh

I knew exactly which photos from last year I wanted to use!

(Thank you Kirsty for choosing this happy prompt!)

It was in June
a lovely day with refreshing drizzling showers.

And with the showers gone
and the air cooled,

what you'd say
to an afternoon rest in a hammock?

Yes please!

So, who's in for Spring?

xx Wen

  7. Good Morning Wendy, We are all wanting Spring to come instead of the bitter cold and snow. We were lucky and only had bitter cold, but those on the East Coast weren't. I love your pictures with the rain drops. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

  15. Heerlijk ja! Laat de lente maar komen! Toen het van het weekend begon te sneeuwen in het noorden, was ik bang dat het naar het zuiden zou afzakken, maar gelukkig... geen sneeuw! Prachtige foto's, je close-ups! Liefs, Ira

  23. Oh I do so love fushias and the colours on these are so delicate and glistening with rain drops...bring on spring (quite a way for us here in Australia just now bearing with extreme heat then going into autumn, in the south where they have a proper spring where I lived as a kid, living now in the tropics with a different set of weather and flowers.)
