Little collage on treebark

Collage on treebark???

Yep.

From Suzy of Suziqu's Threadworks I got some gorgeous old laces.
At first I didn't dare touching them.
I'm so courageous, lol.

And then I thought, I have to do something special with the first pieces I'm using of it.

And I told a little while ago about my love for treebark. So why not combine the two?

I had seen a few beautiful examples, made by Viola and gave it a try.

With a vintage religious image I used a little time earlier on an altered jar.

So here it is, my little treebark collage, in full length.

It's my turn this week to host the challenge at City Crafter.

And the theme I chose is

Snow White
Make a project or card with white as your main colour.

There are different hues of white, it doesn't have to be pure white.
Dear Lisette is our guest designer again :)

  1. Oh Wendy if you keep creating collages
like this especially on bark I will just have to send you more lace and doilies! This is stunning! I love the way you have draped that crocheted piece over the bark at the top and you have used such a beautiful religous image to complement everything!
Sending you many warm Autumnal hugs

  3. Hello dear Wendy
This is such a beautiful collage.
The Madonna image is a lovely focal point and the laces wrapped around with the bark works beautifully.
Beautiful as a Christmas decoration for your home or as a gift.
