I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.'
- Poem by Emily Dickinson
Isn't that what angels are to us, helping hands?
Today two projects. A card and an altered chocolate box.
With yummy laces and sweet angels. The box I covered with an very old doily which belonged to my great-great-grandmother (is that English?), the grandmother of my grandfather so to speak.
And added some other laces and embellishments, and some small beads. I wanted the old doily to show, so I didn't want too much embellishing going on.
One of the laces on the outside of the box (along the edge) is a present I got from dear Ros. She has spoiled me with a sweet and beautiful card plus a lot of extras, which I will show you another time. Thank you sweetie!!

Inside the box I covered with lace fabric, laces, an angel stamp and music. For angels sing, don't they.

Lieve groetjes, Ira
