About a week ago, a dear facebook friend of mine, Odetta, asked me if I would like to do a swap with her. Of course! I love to swap! But my goodness, when her swap arrived... So many beautiful pieces of art, made by her!
Like this stunning pendant you see above...
And this gorgeous fabric and lace heart below...
A sweet and beautiful card.
More beautiful pendants and pouches.
Another beautiful pouch.
And oh my, I'm in love with that sweet little bird pendant!!
Another beautiful card,
which was tuck into a beautiful sheer fabric envelope.
A beautiful cherub flower embellishment and some sweet little images.
Gorgeous laces and buttons.
A heavenly smelling sweet little lavender sachet.
And the pendant of the first photo was hided in this beautiful little box.
My dear Odetta, you utterly spoiled me!!
So many gorgeous gifts...
Thank you so very much, dear friend!
I'm so grateful for the generosity you shared with me!
Odetta had her blog HERE. But she's stopped posting there.
There is a lot of beauty to be seen though, so make sure to hop over for a visit!
I'm still busy with creating my swap goodies for Odetta. She told me she had some things ready before she asked me. And I didn't have anything ready. I hadn't even started, lol. So it will take me some time to create some pieces for her. But the first piece is ready, and I will show you a sneak peek of it coming Tuesday at the next Simply Neutrals party.
For now, wishing you all a beautiful day!
xx Wen
It was a great pleasure for me to make this swap for you! Dear Wen, you have inspired me a lot with your beautiful creations. Thank you so much for this!
ReplyDeleteThat is really sweet of you, I'm honoured you're inspired by my work! Thank you so much, dear! xx hugs to you!
DeleteHow beautiful, beautiful little things Odetta sent you... You must have felt like a millon dollars and a princess when you opened the parcel! Some years ago when I was eager in crazy quilting I participated this kind of international swaps too. Laces, ribbons, buttons, tiny treasures... It was a nice time - but I don't swap or make quilting any more...
ReplyDeleteYes I certainly felt like that, haha! It is wonderful to take part in swaps, but I don't do it too often, because it takes a lot of time too :) Hope to see some of your quilting, Riitta! xx
