Dear friends, today I would like to share with you some
BEAUTIFUL MAIL RECEIVED
Well, received some while ago, to be honest.
The creators are two dear blog friends, Dorthe and Suzy.
First this gorgeous card by Dorthe of Den Lille Lade.
It's so beautiful soft and romantic...
She used beautiful fabrics, laces, paper, paint, buttons, flowers and some bling.
The crocheted flower is one I made some time ago and had sent her.
She added it to this card below the gorgeous shiny flower.
Next is a gorgeous card made by Suzy of Suziqu's Threadworks.
She used one of my favourite paintings by Raphael
(Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino) ~ Madonna of the Rose (detail), 1516.
Suzy added some beautiful gold glitter on the background
and I love the chain stitched embroidery on one of the fabrics.
I used this painting by Raphael in a collage on wood a few years ago, which you can see HERE.
It's one of the first collages I ever made and it's one my most repinned works.
The flowers I used as a background for these photos are Hellebore,
which are on their return.

And here is a sneak peek on a fabric collage that I will show you another time...
For now, wishing you a beautiful day
and sending you sunny smiles!
xx Wen

Hello Wen, It's so lovely to be home again and back in Blogland seeing all the wonderful artworks on display. The gifts from Suzy and Dorthe are beautiful and I love your delicate collage with its dusky pink and pale green theme. Did you use avocado to dye the pinks? I'm going to your next post now to see more.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
